A Glimpse

His perception of the world had dark undertones, like opening a little chest inside a big empty closet. His heart however, was full of hope, full of light. Sometimes, when the darkness was blinding, he would pour his heart out and the room would light up and some say it had a bright undertone, like of hope. He never expected anything, just for the light to shine bright.

He then chose to keep walking and left his heart in the closet. Maybe someone would find it, maybe someone who needed the light.
