As Stars Collide

Since I was a child, I always dreamed of being an astronaut. I use to play with a big bucket on my head (which was my big astronaut helmet) and told my friends that I was an intergalactic hero. As the years have gone by, the visions of who I want to be have changed, but the child in me still reaches for the stars and yearns for the unknown.

As Stars Collide is a representation of who I am today against the child that still lives within me. Many years ago, a great man (my grandfather) told me that our inner child keeps us alive and holds our humanity together. We should grow older, we should learn and keep moving, but we should always keep holding hands with that child that lives inside.
